Ok, the road from Mt Dare to Finke was good going, averaging speeds of 80 - 100 Km/h.
Finke was an eye opener but sad to see the owners of this land live the way they do, my view is that we have a lot to do with it, I wish it was better.
The road from Finke to Alice was also an easy road due to freshly graded roads after the Finke Desert race, which occurred a month ago. Now at Heritage caravan park at Alice Springs for a well deserved break before pushing to the West. I must say Ange is very excited to have a shower everyday & no need to dig a hole to go to the toilet. And to top it off we have a pool! Next destination, the McDonald Ranges.
