GNARLOO - 3 Mile Camp

This place was Spectacular! Camp sites are located right in front of the Indian Ocean, there were about 47 sites, seems like a lot but you still had your privacy and its great for kids.  Definitely a must see, we will be returning.

Everyday we saw up to 6 whales a day just frolicking and breaching in the ocean plus turtles swimming close to the shore line, and we only paid $20 a night for it.   You are truly forced to relax here, and that is exactly what we did.  Wake up have brekky, go for our daily walk along the beach and sand dunes.  On our return I (Ange) would sit down to read then have lunch maybe go for a snorkel or another walk.... Hard life hey!  I'm truly going to struggle going back to reality...

We found 3 Mile was a real favourite for kite surfers and Wind Surfers as the swell gets up to 5 metres plus.  It has been rated as the third world best left hand break.  To watch these guys is truly amazing, as they are contending not only with waves and wind but the Ningaloo reef which runs right up to Exmouth.  We witnessed a couple of people who got into a bit of trouble and had to cut there kites off and return back to shore, their injuries from the reef was not a nice sight to see.
