Mission to find the sun!

Well the last few days have been an experience. We have had no reception hence the reason we are posting a few things today.  When we first headed off it was still quite cool in the mornings and fresh days. Our mission was to find the sun and we sure did but the flies came with it Lol.  Just before we hit Broken Hill the clouds disappeared and the sun was shining.

We have been driving through some interesting towns, people have been friendly and love to chat, I was bailed up by this old man in a visitor centre and he just wanted to chat all day.

Outback Australia is amazing, the land is so harsh yet beautiful  it has been an eye opener for me in many ways.  The roads are so harsh and the land so vast, many creeks, water holes and lakes are dried up, water is so so so important to have with you.  I know (Ange) have always taken that for granted.  We have not stopped it has been full on setting up camp and organising things, I really cannot say I have relaxed yet.

Stefan has been so good and really loving nature, he has loved seeing Kangaroos, Emus, Lizards, Eagles and Camels to name a few, in their element.  We actually met a couple today travelling for five months on camels across Australia, unbelievable.

Today we arrived in Birdsville QLD, which was a relief as our car really struggled on the roads, the exhaust dump pipe flange snapped and Steve got a flat tyre, I'm sure we may have a few of those.

Tonight I'm hoping I have a shower forget about showers every day, maybe every two to three days.  We have camped in a nice spot by a creek and that will be my shower water....
