Bourke and Wills "The Dig Tree"

This is where Bourke & Wills perished at the dig tree. If your not familiar with Australian history, B&W set off on an expedition in 1860 to travel from South to North across the continent by camels. the expedition came to an end as they both perished here.  The tree with Bourke's face was created by some bloke, I can't remember his name lol.  However the markings on there were original.  I'm not one for geography or Oz history but I must say I'm learning a bit, some interesting some not so interesting.

When we left this place, that was the start of our car troubles.....

  1. Its the curse of the black man. The curse occurs when you focus too much on the white man's version of the history of Australia.
