It's over

A very very very big drive, 24 hours from Border Village just over WA border to Melbourne
We left Geraldton WA Sunday 9am and got home to Melbourne at 9am Wednesday to this!
Morning sun rise
And then this!

I would like to thank my family for an unforgettable time, it's something I will never forget.  To live on the road in a Toyota hilux and see hard and extreme out back to beautiful gorges and spectacular beaches and abundance of wild life.

This trip ticked a lot of boxes including 4x4 driving in some of the hardest tracks Australia has to offer, thanks again to all the people that helped with getting the car ready.

The Hilux did it with ease I am impressed with it and can say its a tough truck, when you think about what we put it through.  It ran well and no break downs a bad wield on the after market exhaust was the only fault.
Lovells suspension - excellent
Good year tyres - excellent
The hilux  just worked a treat all the modifications and including the hot water shower all worked well.

  3. Hello family
Thank you for having us, we really had an awesome time bonding, cooking and just root arsing around. Sam is feeling a little lost without his partner. But I'm sure there will be many years ahead for them to root arse around.

Sorry once again for bringing home the lost Jack Russell & Lizard but it was overall quite funny. Peter is the lizard still in the front yard?

We miss you all & love you heaps,
    Sam, Ange & Piper xxxxx

  5. Funny enough, the lizard left when you did, but we've had some cooler weather lately. Good to hear from you and happy you all got home alright.
